George was born on December 15, 1951 in Portersville, California to George Junior and Mozelle Marie (McElroy) Farrar. In 1970, he graduated from Sutter High School in California. George married Glenda Henson in 1971. He was a retired carpenter and loved spending time fishing. George was always helping people in need and checking on his mother to see if she needed anything. He also helped care for his sister, Janice, who was his best friend. Survivors include: his mother, Mozelle Marie Farrar, of Checotah, OK; daughter, Ashley (Christina) Pearce and husband, Chris, of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Roland R. Farrar, of Eufaula, OK; sisters: Annis Hill, of Checotah, OK; and Janice Hill, of Eufaula, OK; nephews: Danny Hill, of Broken Arrow, OK; and James Hill, of Eufaula, OK; nieces: Mariann Coughran, of Weleetka; JoAnn Tidmore, of Oktaha, OK; Heidi Anson, of Checotah, OK; Hanni Spud, of Eufaula, OK; grandchildren: Lexus Metcalf and husband, Jason; and Kyle Pearce, both of Broken Arrow, OK; and great grandchild, Emilie Metcalf and one due in September. He is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Elaine Farrar Whisenhunt; grandparents, George B. and Della L. (Williams oka Slaton) Farrar; and Ernest E. and Josephine (Foster) McElroy.
