George Edwin Freeman

George Edwin Freeman, 91, passed away January 25, 2023, in Muskogee. George was born on September 7, 1931, in Francis, Oklahoma, the son of John Lee and Thelma Lorene Nobles Freeman.  George was full of life and loved his family deeply. One of his greatest joys was singing and he would just burst out a song out of nowhere. He had a beautiful voice.

He is survived by his three children, George Freeman, Jr., Robyn Deleon and Andy Freeman.  He is also survived by his sister, Ramona Barker. George had 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.  George is preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Freeman, brothers, Johnny freeman, Jimmy Freeman and sister, Lucille Garman.
