George Byron Faulkner

March 27, 1939 — January 26, 2014

George was born on March 27, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Byron and Sylvia Rose Faulkner. He attended school at Central High. On July 8, 1961, George married Dottie Dee Swadley. They were happily married for over fifty-two years. He served in the United State Army for six years. George worked as a diesel mechanic and truck driver. He worked for Haskell Lemon Construction for over thirty years. Survivors include: his wife, Dottie Faulkner, of the home; son, Gary Faulkner and wife, Brenda Rowell, of OKC, OK; two brothers: Les Faulkner and wife, Kathy, of OKC, OK; and Mike Miles and wife, Linda, of California; one sister, Martha Barkley and husband, Bill, of Kansas; one grandchild, Natalie and Joshua Zantop; and four great grandchildren: Sherry Faulkner, Harley Faulkner, Shelby Zantop, and Leo Zantop. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tommy Hill and Delbert Faulkner
