Geneva Colbert

Geneva was born on October 4, 1927 to Jacob and Bessie Sullivan. She attended Eufaula Schools. Geneva married Joseph Colbert on April 12, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Geneva worked at Muskogee Dry Cleaners until she retired. She worked at Stidham Public Schools as a Grandmother Helper. She also worked and attended the Tuskegee Baptist Church for over seventy-seven years. She will be missed by all who came in contact with her. Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Colbert; an infant son; her parents, Jacob and Bessie Sullivan; four brothers, Stoddard Sullivan; Newman Sullivan; Robert Sullivan; August Sullivan; and four sisters, Martha Jane Sullivan Howard; Millie May Sullivan; Jorene Sullivan; and Gladys Sullivan. Survivors include: her son, Kenneth Colbert and wife, Kristi Doyle-Colbert, of Eufaula, OK; five grandchildren, Kirstin Arrow Geneva Colbert; Kolton Joseph Colbert; Kavan LB Colbert; Karstan Oma Geneva Colbert; Kenneth Destin Colbert; one great grandchild, Sidney Hunter Colbert; and many nieces and nephews.
