Weldon Eugene "Gene" Johnson, 75, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, at his home. Gene was born on December 8, 1946, in McIntosh County, the son of Weldon Worn and Joyce Beatrice (Small) Johnson. He attended grade school in California. Gene married Norene C. Padgett in October 1969. They were happily married for fifty-two years. Gene owned and operated Lakeside Dock Repair in Longtown for many years. Survivors include: his wife, Norene of the home; daughter, Shauna Johnson of Eufaula; brother, Bill Hogan and wife Mary; sister, Vicki Anderson; grandson, Chris Johnson and nieces, Joyce Anderson, Alexis Anderson and Melody.
