Gata Lois Dowling

Gata Lois Dowling, 62, of Eufaula, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home. Gata was born on April 11, 1953, in Eufaula, Oklahoma the daughter of Andy Junior and Priscilla Aquilla (Smith) Anderson. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1971. On April 21, 1973, Gata married Thomas Dewayne Dowling. They were happily married for forty-two years. She was a lifelong resident of Eufaula and a member of the Eufaula Pentecostal Church. Survivors include: her husband, Tommy of the home; her sons, Andrew Scott Dowling and wife Summer of Eufaula, Scott Anderson Dowling and Blake Larry Dowling both of the home; her daughter, Tommie Arlinda Upton and husband Jamie of Eufaula and her brother, Gary Marshall Anderson and wife Marjie of Muskogee. Gata is also survived by her grandchildren, Larissa and Caleb Upton and Scott and Blake Dowling. She is preceded in death by her parents.
