Garfield Jackson Lewis

Garfield Jackson Lewis, 81, of Eufaula, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Garfield was born on February 23, 1930 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Ellis J. and Ida (Marshall) Lewis. He worked at the Eufaula Dormitory School for over 30 years as the Dorm Matron and Education Aid. Garfield attended church at the Okfuskee Indian Baptist Church. He was married to Shirley Fish for over 20 years, who preceded him in death. Garfield was also a Korean War Veteran. Survivors include: one brother, Glen Dale Lewis and wife, Emily, of Wichita, KS; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Ida Lewis; one sister, Marie Lyons; and four brothers, Solus, Charlie, Legus, and Washie, Jr.
