Florence Virginia "Jean" Effenbeck

Florence Virginia "Jean" Effenbeck, 96, of Eufaula, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Epic Medical Center. Florence was born on April 28, 1917, in Dustin, Oklahoma the daughter of Henry V. and Edna Alice (Smith) Pike. She graduated from high school in San Antonio. In 1936, Florence married Vernard Andrew Effenbeck in San Antonio, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1976. She worked as a laboratory and x-ray technician at the Laughton Clinic in El Reno for over 20 years. Florence was a loving mother and homemaker. She also raised race horses.
