Fletcher "Peewee" Lee Greene

December 24, 1928 — September 30, 2016

Fletcher was born on December 24, 1928 in Eufaula, Oklahoma the son of James Monroe and Lula (Chitwood) Greene. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1949. On May 14, 1955, Fletcher married Cherry Alene Nelson in Eufaula. They were happily married for 61 years. Fletcher worked for the Army Ammunition plant for twenty-nine years. In his free time, he loved spending time with his family, gardening, listening to music and dancing. Survivors include: his wife, Cherry, of the home; his daughter, Regina Holler and husband Chuck of Talihina; grandchildren, Chris Holler of Glenpool, Amanda Varnado and husband Michael of Inola; his great grandchildren, Kassi Haney and Tyler of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Blake, Drew, and Adrianna and one great-great granddaughter, Audrey. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul Greene and wife Kay of Branson, Missouri and Michael Greene of Tulsa as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, five sisters and a granddaughter, Delaina Innis.
