Eunice Faye Corbett Jackson, 82, of Eufaula, passed away on January 11, 2016. She was born on January 29, 1933, in McMann, Oklahoma the daughter of Mack Daniel and Bertha Owen (Johnson) Corbett. She attended Dundee School for eleven years but left school to get married. On August 17, 1950, Eunice married Bruce M. Jackson in Gainesville, Texas. Bruce and Eunice moved to Augusta, Georgia where Bruce was in basic training. They made their home in Pruitt City until Bruce"s death in 1997. Eunice owned and operated Millie"s Café in Countyline for fifteen plus years. It sold in 1992. She was a member of the Ratliff City Baptist Church in Ratliff, Oklahoma. Survivors include: Ernest "Babe" Smith, of the home; her daughters, Thurza Baker of Seminole and Holly Belvin and husband Luke of Ft. Worth, Texas; her sisters, Thelma Myrick Slackey and husband Coy of Durant and Geraldine Cordell and husband Delbert of Norman; three grandchildren, Stephen and Adam Baker of Seminole, and Rae Ann Buchanan of Grand Prairie; and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bruce Jackson, son, Bruce Eugene "Gene" Jackson, sisters, Juanita Bray and Lois Warner and her brothers, Eugene Corbett and Lawrence Corbett.
