Eula Ellene Willmon

Eula was born on June 12, 1919 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Lorenzo Dow and Virgie Tennessee (Freeman) Bailey. She attended Jefferson Davis School in Eufaula. On October 23, 1937, Eula married Orbrey Willmon, who preceded her in death on May 3, 1985. They were happily married for forty-eight years. She worked as a cook for the Old Eufaula Manor Nursing Home, Eufaula, and Stidham Public Schools. Eula was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Eufaula. Survivors include: son, Billy Ray Willmon and wife, Carolyn, of Bakersfield, CA; two daughters: Louella Downum and husband, Vester, of Eufaula, OK; Laveda Bebee and husband, Dave, of Muskogee, OK; one daughter in-law, Vermona Mitchell, of Eufaula, OK; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and seventeen great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Virgie Bailey; her husband, Orbrey Willmon; two sons: J.D. Willmon and infant son, Orbrey Dean Willmon; six brothers: John, Benson, Doc, Ted, Lowell, and Ebb; and three sisters: Cleo, Hattie, and Jewell.
