Eugene Grant Herrod

Eugene Grant Herrod, 76, passed away Thursday, April 7th, 2022 in his home. Eugene was born on April 13th, 1945 to Tarpie and Frances (Pope) Herrod in Talihina, Oklahoma. He attended the Jones Academy in Hartshorne, Oklahoma where he received his GED. Eugene married Andrea Walker in Fort Smith, Arkansas on July 22nd, 2005. He worked as a welder, explosive worker for 33 years, he enjoyed playing darts, and was an avid fan of the OU Sooners. Eugene is survived by his wife Andrea Herrod of Eufaula, sons; Shane Herrod, Shawn Herrod, Guymon Marshall and Derrick Marshall, daughters; Sonya Herrod, Sammi Borders and Kelli Beaver, brothers; Roger Herrod, Earl Harrison, John Harrison, and Mark Harrison and sister Connie Harrison, sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father; Tarpie Herrod, mother; Frances Pope, sons: Sheco Herrod and Sgt. Richard Marshall, brothers; Gary Harrison, Alvin Harrison and Jerry Herrod, and one grandchild.
