Ernestine Roach

Ernestine Irene "Ernie" Roach 90, of Eufaula, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 4th, 2022. Ernie was born April 22, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ernest and Pearl Buchanan. Ernie graduated from Capitol High School and continued on to graduate from Hills Business College. Ernie married William A. “Bill” Roach Jr on August 5, 1950 and were happily married for 59 years. Ernie’s biggest love was singing in the church for the Lord. She also enjoyed being with her family and the occasional game of bingo.

Ernie is survived by daughter, Karen Musgrove of Edmond; son, David Roach and wife Anita of Edmond; sister, Ethel Mae Knopp of OKC; niece, Debbie Knopp of OKC; nephew, Arthur Knopp of OKC; four grandchildren, Angela Flynn and husband Jim of Piedmont, Susan Lynn Kester and Lee Pearce of Guthrie, Shane Hamilton and wife Annie of Edmond; six great-grandchildren, Sarah, James, Skyler and wife Chyna, Ian, Landon and Blythe; three great-great grandchildren, Spencer, Stiles and Selena. Ernie was preceded in death by husband Bill, daughter, Susan Masters; granddaughter, Kristal Masters; parents, Ernest and Pearl Buchanan; brothers, Everette and Earl D Buchanan; nephews, Michael D Buchanan, Ronnie and Larry Knopp.
