Eric James Lancaster

Eric James Lancaster, 37, of Stigler, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Eric was born on November 19, 1984, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Elizabeth Ann Lancaster. He attended Eufaula Public Schools where he played football and was on the power lifting team, making All State Power Lifter in 2003. Eric graduated from Eufaula High School in 2003. On September 21, 2012, Eric married Katie Bowden at the Stidham Baptist Church. Eric worked oilfield and was a trucker. Eric enjoyed hunting deer with his friends, fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include: his wife, Katie, of the home; his son, Everett, of the home; mother, Elizabeth Lancaster of Eufaula; brothers, Greg and wife Shannon Veit of Yoakum, Texas and Justin Lewelling of Byars, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, E.J. and Nova Lancaster, uncle Elton Lancaster and aunt Frances Lancaster.
