Elsie Florene Harris

Elsie Florene Harris, 91, of Eufaula, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020, at her home. Elsie was born on July 22, 1928, in Cedar Glades, Arkansas, the daughter of Vena Levena Riley. She attended school in Redden, Oklahoma. She married George Clayburn in 1946. To this union two sons, George Dennis and Marlin, were born. She later married Arvel Harris in Oklahoma City. They were happily married for forty years. He preceded her in death in 2013. Elsie worked as a real estate broker for several years in the Oklahoma City area. Survivors include: her son, George Dennis, of the home; her daughter in law, Becky of Wellston; her brother, John Riley, of Kiowa; her sisters, Gladys Littlejohn of Edmond, Pauline Littlejohn of Oklahoma City, Arleva Riley of Eufaula, Peggy Garmon of Altus, Carolyn Keeling of Fort Gibson, Lena Riley of Altus and Velma Duncan of Noble; her great grandchildren Marlinda, Robert, Rebecca, Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Marlin Gerald Clayburn.
