Elnora Ruth Burris

Elnora was born on October 20, 1961 to Daniel Barnett Sr. and Jennie Mae Barnett. Elnora graduated from Eufaula High School in 1980. On March 8, 1980 Elnora married John Burris in Eufaula. They were happily married for thirty-nine years. She worked for Smith Nephew Medical for thirty-five years. She was a member of Okfuskee Indian Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, John Burris, of the home; sons, Brandon and Chris; brothers, Russell Barnett and wife Sherry, of Eufaula, OK, Rodney Barnett, of Gore, OK, Desmond Barnett and wife Lynn, of Kingfisher, OK, Mitchell Barnett and Rebecca (Becky), of Hanna, OK, and Acee Barnett, of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Regina Roberts, of Eufaula, OK, Janice Barnett, of Muskogee, OK, Nellie Hallum and husband Melvin, of Eufaula, Jennie Lee "Lisa" Barnett, of Checotah, OK, Millicent Barnett, of Eufaula, OK, and Angela Barnett and Nathan Harjo, of Anadarko, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Jennie Mae Barnett, and Daniel Jr.
