Elliott Dean Fields

Elliott Dean Fields, 77, of Eufaula, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the McAlester Regional Health Center. Elliott was born on January 27, 1947 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Sunday and Pauline (Manley) Fields. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1965. In 1967, Elliott married Rose James. They were married for twenty-eight years. He worked for the US Corps of Engineers at the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State for twenty-seven years. Elliott was in a relationship with Charlene Sulphur since 2017. They are long time companions and friends. He was a member of the Artussee Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Sheila Fields, of Washington State; four grandchildren: Kabrina, Shawnee, Reggie, and Bobby Desautel; six great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose Fields; one son, John Fields; and one brother, Arnold Fields.
