Edwin Lee Arter

Edwin was born on February 4, 1953, in Fresno, California, the son of Elbert Lee and Barbara Ann (Rouw) Arter. He attended CALWA Grade School in Fresno, California. The family moved and he attended Van Buren Jr. High in Van Buren, Arkansas. Edwin worked for Coleman in Wichita for three years and the Coca Cola Industry for two years. He then worked as a truck driver for over twenty years. Survivors include: his mother, Barbara Ann Arter; his son, Eric Lee Arter and wife Jennifer of Hensley, Arkansas; his daughters, Kristal Hoskins and husband James of Bauxite, Arkansas, Erin Wakefield of Little Rock, Arkansas, Monica Jackson and husband Kerry of Roland, Oklahoma and Hollie Peterson of Howe, Oklahoma; his brother, Alan Arter of Fresno, California; his sister, Mitzy Arter of Wichita, Kansas and eleven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Elbert Lee Arter.
