Edward Benjamin Hemman, Jr.

Edward Benjamin Hemman, Jr., 83, of Eufaula, passed away on June 25, 2021 at the McAlester Regional Health Center. Edward was born on February 17, 1938 in Westville, Oklahoma to Edward Benjamin and Hazel Belle (Dulap) Hemman. He attended Caruthers Schools in California. Edward received his Associate's Degree from Reedley Junior College. On March 19, 1955, he married Glenda Doris Beard in Fresno, California. They were happily married for sixty-six years and raised two sons together. In his younger years, Edward was very interested in politics. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially with his favorite hunting dog, Rusty. Survivors include: his wife, Glenda Hemman, of the home; two sons: Edward Dale Hemman and wife, Donna, of Dallas, OR; and Roger Hemman and wife, Lisa, of Goleta, CA; brother, Donald Hemman and wife, Jane, of Lodi, CA; sister, Ruth Kuykendall, of Anderson, CA; four grandchildren: Edward Lee Hemman, of Salem, Or; Katelyn Rodgers, of Vancouver, WA; Kenzie Hemman and Bryce Hemman, both of Goleta, CA; and two great grandchildren: Natalie and Wyatt Rodgers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Benjamin and Hazel Belle Hemman; two brothers: James "JT" Hemman and Dale Wayne Hemman; and one sister, Marie Wood.
