Edna was born on May 19, 1920 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Edward Lafayette, Sr. and Fannie Catherine (Scott) Sneed. She grew up in Checotah, but attended both Eufaula and Checotah Public Schools. On December 5, 1937, Edna married Claude Blair in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She moved to Eufaula after getting married. There, Edna owned and operated Eufaula Anchor Paint from 1964 until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Lake Eufaula Christian Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Reynolds and husband, Danny, of Eufaula; three grandchildren: Emily Coppick and husband, Tim, of Eufaula; Kent Hairod and wife, Parilyn, of Ringling, OK; Cyndi Coker and husband, Mike, of Bellville, TX; six great grandchildren: Garrett Coppick, Paige Coppick, Zachary Hairod and wife, Ashley, Ashley Hairod, Keeley Coker, and Kamm Coker, and “The kids of ‘J’ St.”; and one great great grandchild, Madison Hairod. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Fannie Sneed; her husband, Claude Blair; five brothers: Shelley Sneed, Edward Sneed, Jr., Lawrence Sneed, Hobart Sneed, and Joe Bob Sneed; and one sister, Oneta Jackson. Family visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
