Edna Faye Flud

Edna Faye Flud, 91, of Eufaula, passed away on January 15, 2018 at Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Faye was born on September 12, 1926 in Artussee, Oklahoma to William Frank and Margie Arbell (Locke) Walters. She graduated from Stidham High School in 1945 and later attended Northeastern State University. On January 15, 1951, Faye married Devoe Flud, who preceded her in death in 1970. They were happily married for almost twenty years and raised two daughters together. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: her daughters: Margie Cathryn Eldridge-Cook and husband, Richard, of Ochelata, OK; and Shirley Kay Watkins and husband, Tony Joe, of Stidham, OK; brother, William Frank Walters, Jr. and wife, Wilma, of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren: Felicia Eldridge and husband Mike Phillips, of Ochelata, OK; granddaughter in-law, Mindi Eldridge, of Bartlesville, OK; Kitty Pollard and husband, Toney, of Eufaula, OK; and Amanda Watkins and husband, C.J. Jones, of Tulsa, OK; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Devoe; grandchild, David Eldridge; and four infant sisters.
