Edna Alice Barfield, 77, of Eufaula, passed away on January 26, 2016 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Alice was born on April 13, 1938 in Klondike, Texas to Charles and Lola Maud (Schrebele) Moxley. She graduated from Capitol Hill High in 1956. On June 1, 1956 Alice married Phillip Barfield in Oklahoma City. They were happily married for over fifty-nine years. She worked as an insurance agent for three years. Alice also worked part time in several other fields. She was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include: sons: David Barfield and wife, Carol, of Broken Arrow, OK; Paul Barfield and wife, Kim, of Wellston, OK; brother, Jo Jon Moxley, of OKC, OK; sister, Mary Dunbar and husband, Wayne, of Oregon; five grandchildren: Stephanie Rowan and husband, Seth; Amanda Raegan and husband, Nathan both of Broken Arrow, OK; Breanna Barfield; Paula Barfield, both of Wellston, OK; and Amy Vargas and husband, Zachary, of Shawnee, OK; two great grandchildren: Scarlett Jane Raegan & Kate Vargas. She is preceded in death by her sons: Phillip and John Barfield; sister, Mildred; and brother, Gene Motley.
