Edith Beatrice Hodge

Edith was born on August 26, 1937 in Stidham, Oklahoma to John Henry and Myrtle (Hughes) Jones. She attended school in Dustin, Oklahoma. In 1953, she married Carl Threlkeld and had four children: Debra, Jerry, Danny, and Cheryl. Edith worked as an administrative assistant for a construction business. In 1978, she married Don Hodge, who preceded her in death in 2000. Survivors include: two sons: Jerry Threlkeld and wife, Beverly, of Weleetka, Ok; Danny Threlkeld and wife, Jo Ann, of Sand Springs, OK; two daughters: Debra Whittiker and husband, Jerry; Cheryl Reed and husband, Tim, all of Muskogee, OK; one brother, Glen Jones and wife, Truma, of Janesville, CA; four sisters: Loretta Reoh, of Eufaula, OK; Freda Guest and husband, Wayne, of Checotah, OK; Nana Platner, of Brush Hill, OK; Inez Clayton and husband, Dale, of Checotah, OK; two half-sisters: Helen Reininger, of Arcata ,CA; and Hazel Campbell, of Grant Pass, OR; eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Don Hodge.
