Earl Robinson, Jr., 84, of Eufaula, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at his home. Earl was born on April 28, 1928 in Meto, Arkansas to Earl Sr. and Lottie (Nance) Robinson. He attended school in Putman City, Oklahoma. On August 9, 1945, Earl married Betty Jo Smith, who preceded him in death on November 7, 2005. He enlisted in the United States Navy on October 12, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was honorably discharged on July 13, 1946. Earl received a Victory Medal for serving during WWII. His career was in floor covering installation. Earl attended church at the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Survivors include: one son, David Robinson, of Eufaula, OK; two daughters, Denese Sears, of Corbin, KY; Delora Robinson, Olympia, WA; one sister, Beatrice Duzan, of OKC, OK; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Robinson; his parents, Earl Sr. and Lottie Robinson; one daughter, Diana Lynn Robinson; and three brothers: Lemyl, Delmar, and Karl Robinson.
