Earl Dean Buie

Earl Dean Buie, 78, of Eufaula, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. Dean was born on November 22, 1941, in Eufaula, Oklahoma the son of Reuben Neal and Clara Oreatha (Renfrow) Buie. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1959. On March 2, 1965, Dean married Lula Lorene Boatner in Canadian, Oklahoma. They were happily married for fifty-four years. Dean worked for ODOT for over thirty-three years. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include: his wife, Lula, of the home; his sons, Barry Dean Buie and wife Dana of Eufaula and Richard Brian Buie and wife Robyn of Perry; his sister, Joan Carol Thornbrugh and husband Richard of Lawson, Missouri; and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Neal Gary Buie, and Murl Gene Buie.
