Dwight Carson Bowling

Dwight Carson Bowling, 78, of Longtown OK passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Dwight was born on April 22, 1946 in Clarendon, TX to Jerome Homer Bowling and Novel Lafayette (Gustin) Bowling. Dwight was the oldest petioner for Medical Marijuana, he loved to fish and stop in the casinos .Dwight worked as a project manager on construction sites. Dwight married Dawn Lynn Fletcher on March 20, 2004 in Longtown, OK., he was a member of the Piney Creek Fellowship Church and a Vietnam Navy Veteran.

Dwight is survived by his wife of the home; Dawn, one son; Larry D. Sutherland of Albuquerque NM., four daughters; Racheal Bowling of Amarillo,TX, Melinda Shadel and husband Shay of Clarendon TX, Brandy L. Griego and husband Richard of Las Lunas NM, Chantell Shankle and husband Jacob of Los Lunas, NM. one brother; Greg Bowling and wife Vicki. two sisters; Teila Head and husband Bobby, Gail Duke and husband Jimmy Duke all of TX.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents; one sister Madeline and three brother-in-laws; Jimmy Duke, Bobby Head and Jimmy Longley.
