Dr. Snorri Olafsson

Dr. Snorri Olafsson, 87, of Muskogee, passed away on November 12, 2019. Snorri was born on February 22, 1932 in Iceland. He attended school in Europe, Rome, and Canada. Dr. Olafsson received his Medical Degree in Iceland. He worked at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee for about twenty years. Dr. Olafsson loved to read and could tell the best stories. Survivors include: his daughter, Delores Coffman and husband, Paul Preston, of Eufaula, OK; two grandchildren: Carl Martin and Steven Kelly; and numerous great and great great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
