Douglas Loren Fink came into this world on July 14, 1961, in Bakersfield, California, to his parents James Loren Fink and Shirley Joann Webb Fink (now Leeper), of Tehachapi, California. Douglas passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at his home in Eufaula, Oklahoma. The family farmed and ranched in California, and Doug learned hard work at a very young age. He was never coddled in his upbringing. The family moved to Stuart, Oklahoma in 1976, in Doug's 10th year of high school. Doug was an extremely responsible teenager growing up. He and his friends were hired by the Stuart School to paint it, using Doug's 2-ton truck to stand on. Doug was also picked over the other students to drive the vo-tech bus back and forth to McAlester. Doug was introduced to horses at a young age. His favorite horse was a stunning black Appaloosa named Timberhawk. He roped cattle every week at the Tehachapi Round-Up Club arena, rode in rodeos, parades and even trotted down the main streets of Tehachapi. Doug married Sabrina Elaine Green on December 31, 1984. They had three beautiful girls, Heather Joann, Miriam Ruby and Naomi Jewel. Doug was not a perfect husband or father, but he had a kind heart and loved all of his immediate family and his extended family. Doug was a great provider raising his family, working hard in the oilfield as a driller, 7 days a week at most of his jobs, with stretches off in between. Doug bought a nice home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, for his family in 2012. He was temporarily living in Eufaula, near his mother, while commuting back and forth to his job, when he became ill. While in Eufaula, Doug started going to the Tabernacle of Praise Church of Henryetta. He grew stronger in the Lord. He always planned to go back to Pawhuska one day but he never made it. No matter the distance that separated them, Doug always loved his wife, daughters and grandchildren with all of his heart. Doug was preceded in death by all of his grandparents. He leaves behind his parents; wife, Sabrina; daughters, Heather Colley and husband Kristopher Shawn, Miriam Fink, and Naomi Mooney and husband Justin; siblings Rhonda Loreen Smith-Robinson, Melissa Joann Fink, Russell Wayne Fink and Audrey Lynn Fink; grandchildren, Chance Carl Colley, Loren Dee Colley, Shooter Tripp Colley, Waylon Shot Colley, Wyatt James Fink, Wednesday Elaine Fink, Autumn Tess Mooney and Nathanial Holt Mooney; nieces and nephews, Donald James Smith, Michael Robinson, Tiersten Lindley, Tannor Freeman, Averie Kaler and his great nieces, Lakyn Wood, KK Lindley, and Ellecia Freeman.
