Dorothy Wahneta Boyer, 92, of Eufaula, passed away on June 20, 2020 at the McAlester Regional Health Center. Dorothy was born on September 27, 1927 to Louis William and Hazel LaJoy (Rattan) Hardison. On January 2, 1982, she married David Boyer. They were happily married for 38 years. Dorothy worked as a x-ray technician at the hospitals in Eufaula, Stigler, Wilburton, Healdton, and Clinton for over fifty years. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Eufaula. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting, and texting on the phone. Survivors include: her husband, David Boyer, of the home; sons: Terry Kinsey, of Eufaula; Billy Joe Kinsey, of Pink; and Paul Kinsey, of Hilton; daughters: Sue Johnson, of Shawnee and Donna Henderson, of Hilton; brother, Alvin Hardison, of Ardmore; sister, Goldie Phipps, of Duncan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Orin Hardison.
