Dorothy Jean Mansfield

Dorothy Jean Mansfield, 83, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on September 12, 1940, in Russellville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ben and Stella (Ginn) Risenhoover. Dorothy attended Moore High School. She married James Mansfield on November 7, 1986 in El Reno, Oklahoma. They were happily married for thirty-seven years. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and being around her family, especially the grandkids.

Survivors include: her husband, James of the home; daughters Penny Beaver and husband Jody of Checotah, Terry DeCassios and husband Charlie of Checotah; son, Randy Smith and wife Kelli of Van Buren, Arkansas; sister, Sandy Garrett and husband Pat; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
