Dorothy Fay Bedford Kirkpatrick

Dorothy Fay (Bedford) Kirkpatrick, 88, of Eufaula, passed away on October 12, 2017 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Dorothy was born on July 14, 1929 in Rockwall, Texas to Lige and Annie (Day) McNew. She attended Canadian Public Schools. On March 25, 1947 Dorothy married T.L. Bedford in Reno, who preceded her in death on September 25, 1991. They were happily married for forty-four years and to this union five sons and one daughter were born. She later married A.R. Kirkpatrick on August 1, 1998. They were happily married for fifteen years, before he preceded her in death on March 13, 2013. Survivors include: her sons: Eugene Bedford and wife, Susan; Lewis Bedford and wife, Donna; Jerry Bedford and wife, Lanecia; Steve Bedford and wife, Debbie; and Bo Bedford and wife, Pam; one daughter, Kathy Watson and husband, Tony; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, T.L. Bedford; her second husband, A.R. Kirkpatrick; and one grandson, Thomas Bedford.
