Doris Palmer

Doris Palmer, 88 of Eufaula passed away May 8, 2018. Doris was born June 7, 1929 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont to Ralph Olney and Grace Clow. She married Theodore Homer Wood in Milton, Vermont in 1943. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1962. Doris later married Leroy Palmer in Hudson, New York. She was a member of the Poteau Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Theodore Homer and wife Mia Kortland Wood of Portaranch, California, and Jeffrey Scott and wife Brenda Wood of Choctaw; daughters, Deborah Grace Wood of Poteau, Darlene Blanche Wood and husband Timothy Pierson of Longtown, Dora Lynn Heathcock and husband Kevin of Shady Point, Paula Marie Lloyd and husband Glenn of Summerfield and Pamela Woolsey, of Arkoma; brothers, Clifford Olney and wife Beverly of Watertown, NY, and Ralph Olney and wife Greta of Milton, Vermont; 16 grand children; 37 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Lawrence, Isabelle Sirmans; brother Donald Olney; mother, Grace Olney; father Ralph Olney; husband Theodore Wood and great grandson Andrew Wilson
