Donna L. Coberly

Donna L. Coberly, 90, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Van Buren House. Donna was born on August 29, 1932, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ralph Etzelmueller and Olivia (Zerull) Etzelmueller. She attended Kenosha High School where she met Jerry Hanak. She graduated in 1950, and she and Jerry were married December 29, 1951. Jerry died on January 27, 1973. Later, Donna received her Bachelor of Liberal Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. On November 17, 1973, Donna married Troy Coberly. She was a government employee and worked as an equipment specialist and programer for the United States Air Force. Donna was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Donna was very into music and was almost always the church organist and pianist in the churches she attended. She also loved to sing and frequently sang solos. In her children’s opinion, she was always the prettiest mom of the school parents.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Hanak of St. Charles, Missouri, Martin Coberly of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Troy Anthony Coberly of North Carolina; her daughters, Connie L. Davis of Middleburg, Florida and Naomi Perry of McAlester, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Olivia Etzelmueller, both husbands, Jerry Hanak and Troy Coberly, and her brother Edward William Etzelmueller of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
