Donald Larry Smittle

Donald “Larry” Smittle, 82, of Eufaula, passed away on February 12, 2013 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Larry was born on April 15, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lawrence and Mary (Petty) Smittle. He was enlisted in the United States Army in 1951, serving during the Korean War before being honorably discharge. Larry worked for Zebco Hunting Division. He retired to Eufaula, Oklahoma in the early 1990’s. Larry was a member of the Church of Christ. He loved to fish and hunt. Survivors include: one son, Don Smittle, of Tulsa, OK; one daughter, Debbie McDaniel and husband, Jim, of Broken Arrow, OK; three grandchildren: Katy McDaniel, Kyle McDaniel, and Wade Smittle; and one great grandchild, Landon Smittle. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Smittle.
