Donald Brewer

Donald Edward Brewer, 83 of Canadian, Oklahoma passed away on November 28, 2018 at his home. Donald was born on August 19, 1935 in Leon, Oklahoma to Charlie Forrest and Annie Marie (Hicks) Brewer. Donald attended school at Leon. He worked as a plumber all of his life, getting his license in the mid 50's. Donald owned M & D Plumbing, and retired from Don's Plumbing. He loved helping his son, Don. Survivors include: his son, Donald E. Brewer Jr. and wife Michelle of the home; daughters, Debbie Preble and husband Randy of Oklahoma City, and Mandy James and husband Christopher of Oklahoma City; sons, James Moore and wife Wendy ,Tim Moore, and a son in law Robert Moran, all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Shelby Brewer, Chelsey Brewer, Kaitlyn Brewer, Christina Smith, Stephanie Presley, Danielle Roman, Brandi Wavada, Robert "Bobby" Moran, Tyler Deal, Haylea Deal, Brooke Deal, and Ashley Moore; great grandchildren, Ethan Smith, Madison Smith, Hannah Presley, Case Wavada, Coal Wavada, Easton Echelle, Joshua Roman, and Ayleah and Bentlee Deal; brothers and sisters, Mae Green of Wagoner, OK, Melvin Brewer of Muskogee, James Brewer of Haskell, and Ray Brewer of Newalla. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Donna Moran; sisters and brothers, Mary Ann Hackney, Richard, Caleb, Melva, Fred, and Robert. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday December 3, 2018 at the Canadian First Baptist Church with Reverend Rodney Karch officiating. Burial will follow at Bower Cemetery in Longtown under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Kevin McDaniel, Joe Craig, Gabe Patrick, Dennis Williams, Mike Presley, and James Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Jarden, and Gerald Meiwes.
