Don

Gordon Lawrence Grider II "Don" was born on January 19, 1951 and received his angel wings at his home on September 24, 2021. He was 70 years old. Don lived on Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma. He was born to Gordon Lawrence and Clara Louise Grider in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1969. He joined the Army National Guard after high school. Don attended Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. On July 4, 1999, Don married Amber Stewart. They were happily married for twenty-two years. Don retired from Hobby Lobby. He loved lake life. After retiring, he moved to Lake Eufaula. He enjoyed fishing, boating and cruising the neighborhood on his golf cart to visit friends. Don is survived by his wife, Amber Grider; son and daughter in law, Gordon and Kristie Grider; daughter, Heather Harden; siblings, Gayle and Glen Castle, Jana and Bob Morris, Harry and Kathy Grider and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Madie and Hallie and great grandson, Kash. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Clara Grider and a grandson Garrett Grider.
