Dixie Marie Lowder

Dixie Marie Lowder, 72, of Eufaula, passed away December 18, 2011 at the St. John’s Hospital of Tulsa. Dixie was born on May 2, 1939, in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of John Henry and Ava Adeline (Myers) Krause. She worked as a psychiatric social worker for the Patton State Hospital in San Burnadino, California for twenty-five plus years. In 1998, Dixie moved to Eufaula to be close to her daughter. She was a member of the First Church of God. Survivors include: her daughter, Ava Koedyker and husband Corey of Eufaula; her brothers, George Krause of Arizona and John Krause of Indiana; her sisters, Patricia Lane of Indiana and Delana Wilson of Georgia and two grandchildren Samantha and Taylor.
