Dennis Eugene Clayton

Dennis Clayton, 60, of Eufaula, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home. Dennis was born on January 18, 1959 in Beggs, Oklahoma the son of Adolph Menjou and Vella (Patrick) Clayton. He graduated from Booker T. Washington in 1978. Years later he attended Tulsa Community College. On December 18, 2003, Dennis married Teresa Renee Howard in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Dennis enjoyed mowing, gardening, and cartoons. His greatest joy was coaching basketball to his children and the area youth. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness, Kingdom Hall of Checotah. Survivors include his wife, Teresa, of the home; his mother, Vella; his sons, Dejuan Clayton, Odell Clayton, JayDen Clayton, Dennis Clayton Jr., and Noah Clayton; his daughters, Marquita Clayton, LaQuita Clayton, MaKayla Clayton, Keisha Clayton, Khandis Clayton and Aliyah Clayton; his brothers, Tim Patrick and Adolph Clayton; and his sisters, Valerie Clayton and Amy Clayton; and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Adolph and his son, Curtis. Private family services will be held at a later date.
