Denise Armstrong

Cynthia Denise Armstrong, 66, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Muskogee. Denise was born on June 11, 1956, in Conway, South Carolina, the daughter of William L. and Joyce (Montgomery) Gawf. Denise worked as a dental hygienist. She married Lamar Armstrong on August 2, 1980, in Corpus Christi, Texas. They were happily married for forty-two years.

Survivors include: her husband, Lamar, of the home; step daughter, Natalie Armstrong of Eufaula; grandchildren, Avery Armstrong, Trevor Armstrong Jr and Mileigh Armstrong all of Eufaula; and sisters, Pam & Sherry. She is also survived by brother in law, Gary Duke of Tulsa, sister in law, Shirley Hopkins of Eufaula, and brother in law, Keith Duke also of Eufaula, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Joyce Gawf and her son, Trevor.
