Dedra Dene Greer

Dedra Dene Greer, 49, of Eufaula, passed away on August 22, 2017 at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. Dedra was born on January 14, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas to Jimmy William and Lois Willodean (Dees) Greer. She grew up in Timbo, Arkansas. Dedra competed in beauty pageants and won some. She played basketball and played the piano at church. Dedra spent most of her adult life in Newton, Kansas. After her accident in 2014, she moved down to Eufaula with her brother and sister-in-law. Dedra loved her cabin on the lake and classic rock music. Survivors include: daughters: Trista Lane and Aleena Shenae Lane, both of Newton, KS; brothers: John Greer, of Eufaula; and Jimmy Greer, of Newton, KS; and sister, Debra Walton, of Wichita, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Lois Greer.
