David Odell Isaac

David Odell Isaac Sr., 77, of Eufaula passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Epic Medical Center. David was born on November 13, 1934, in Mellette, Oklahoma the son of Robert Henry and Jessie Mae (Haney) Isaac. He was raised and attended school in Hanna. He met and married Della Buffington in Stigler, Oklahoma in 1956. They moved to Eufaula and opened Dave’s Bait Shop. He had the business for 55 years before retiring in 2010. David was a long time member of the Eufaula Masonic Lodge #1. He was well known and liked in the Eufaula Community and will be missed. Survivors include: his son, David Isaac Jr. and wife Tammy of Eufaula; his daughters, Donna Isaac and Natalie of Memphis, Tennessee, Deloris Isaac and Tim Dix of McAlester and Deeanna Burwell and husband Daniel of Eufaula; his sister, Bette Rentfro and husband Gordon of Norman; six grandchildren, Heidi Collett, Melissa Hyslop and husband Jamie, Robin Clanton and husband Shane, Amber King and husband Chad, A.J. Spurlock, Jordon Burwell, Christi Haynes and Matthew Haynes. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his wife, Della Isaac on April 4, 1998, his parents Robert and Jessie Isaac, two brothers and four sisters.
