David Leon Roberts

David L. Roberts, 74, of Eufaula, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. David was born on January 11, 1945, in Dekalb, Texas the son of Lawnie and Faye (Sellars) Roberts. David graduated from Dekalb, Texas in 1965. On October 7, 1985, David married Barbara Evans in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were happily married for thirty-three years. David worked as a supervisor for Verizon-GTE for thirty years. He loved to fish, drive his mule and visit his neighbors. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara, of the home; sons, Emmitt Roberts and wife Marie, of Tulsa, OK, Edgar Roberts and wife Christy, of Decatur, Texas, and Jimmy Taylor and wife Jennifer, of Oklahoma City; daughter, Donna Redwine, of Eufaula; brother, James Roberts, of Dekalb,TX; ten grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawnie and Faye Roberts; and a sister, Martha Johnson.
