David Dale Clayton

Dale was born on April 30, 1942, in Red Hill, Oklahoma, the son of George Washington and Chloe Bell (Brison) Clayton. He graduated from Dustin High School in 1959. He married Thelma Inez Jones in Arkansas. They were happily married for fifty-nine years before she preceded him in death on June 8, 2018. Dale worked as a truck driver for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Dale is survived by his children, David Ray Clayton of Checotah and Rebecca Lynn Wilson and her husband, Brian of Stidham; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; his sisters, Theresa Warner of Henryetta and Lorraine Elizabeth Gregg of Phoenix, Arizona and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his siblings, Betty Whally, Freda Smith, Earl Clayton, Frank Clayton and Viola Carl.
