David "Bruce" Rule, 66, of Taos, New Mexico, died Friday, May 21, 2021. Bruce was born on July 15, 1954, in Levelland, Texas, the son of Toma Fay and Norma Pauline (McDaniel) Rule. He attended Levelland High School and some college at South Plains. He lived in several places including Houston, TX, Anchorage, AK, Levelland, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and Taos, NM. He was a man that enjoyed roadtrips and the outdoors, and was well loved by his family, many acquaintances, as well as a close group of lifelong friends that were akin to family. Bruce was a caring and kind-hearted individual that was also willing to help out a friend in need. He is survived by his sons, Kevin Rule and Karl Rule; his daughter, Kelli Evans; sister, Diane Mendez; and one grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Rule.
