Darrell Marcus Barnett

Darrell Marcus Barnett, 59, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, in Tulsa. Darrell was born on September 29, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Morris and Mercedes (Scott) Barnett. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1974. He was married to Karen Ward for twenty years. Darrell worked as an open road trucker for over twenty years. He loved to play softball and spend time with his grandkids. He was a member of the Tuskegee Baptist Church. Survivors include: his sons, Marcus Barnett and wife Katie of Tulsa and Manuel Barnett also of Tulsa; his daughters, Dee Lynn Barnett, Esther Glory and husband Chris, Mindy Barnett, Stormi Barnett and Kayla Barnett all of Tulsa; his brothers, Fred Barnett and wife Socorro of McAlester, Eddie Barnett and wife Becky of Tulsa, Bruce Barnett and Rosco Barnett both of Eufaula. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren. Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Gwendolyn Hill and a grandson Derek Barnett.
