Dale Corley

Obie Dale Corley, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, in Eufaula, OK. Dale was born on May 11, 1937, to Clifton and Grace (Clanton) Corley in Eufaula, OK. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1954. Dale moved to Muskogee in 1960, where he sold Beltone Hearing Aids for many years, becoming one of the top sellers. He moved back to Eufaula in 1970 to take over his father's insurance company, Corley Insurance Agency. In 1980, Dale married Peggy Avance in Eufaula. He worked as a Real Estate Agent until he retired. He then had several different projects to fulfill his time. Dale loved growing flowers in his garden, listening to gospel music and learning about his family tree. Dale is survived by his wife Peggy of the home; daughters: Dalene Daniels and husband, Larry, of Norman; Beverly Swadley and husband, Steve, of Noble; and Benita Wallace and husband, Michael, of Norman; step-son, Scott Avance, of Stidham; brother, Terrill Corley, of Tulsa; six grandchildren: Brandon Pearce, Rebecca Goodale, Sydney Fancher, Coleman Wallace, Drew Swadley, and Lenna Avance; and seven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Obie Clifton and Grace Marie Corley and three brothers: Ansel, Gerald, and Tom Corley.
