Dale C. Garner, 77, of Eufaula, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, at his home. Dale was born on June 29, 1940, in Anadarko, Oklahoma the son of Jerry K. and Lonnie May (Wall) Garner. He attended school at Comanche. In 1957, Dale enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in Duncan. He served during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1959. On September 25, 1959, Dale married Pat Biffle. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2008. Dale worked in the oilfield, farmed, and drove a truck for several years. On January 7, 2011, Dale married Vetta McDonald in Marietta, Oklahoma. Dale was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He worked in the Overcomers Group for the past fifteen years serving in prison ministry. Dale traveled to all fifty states, some even before they were states. His greatest love was his grandchildren. Survivors include: his wife, Vetta, of the home; his son, Kenny Garner and wife Shelley of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Tammy Voegeli and husband Philip of Chickasha and Pamela Miller of Blanchard; his brothers, Don Garner of Duncan and Jay Garner of Montana; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Lonnie, his sisters, Marie Ketchum and Maxine Hyatt and his brother, Troy Garner.
