Dail Thurman

Dail Thurman, 97, of Warner passed away on March 22nd, 2018 at Country Side Estates. Dail was born on October 17, 1920 in Porum, the daughter of Lando Scott and Lena Dake. On December 25, 1935, Dail married Frank Thurman. They were happily married for 67 years. Dail was a cowgirl who worked on the farm and ranch. She loved to hunt deer, quail, and rabbits. Dail also loved to fish for bass. She lived in McIntosh county for most of her life. During hard times, Dail went to California and Oregon to live and work but always returned to Oklahoma. She is survived by her sons: Nathaniel "Scotty" Thurman, of Tulsa, OK; and Joey Coughran, of Porum, OK; great friend, Nancy Padgett and husband, Ken, of Warner, OK; grandchildren: Farren, Donald, Sherry, Jacqulyn, Kathryn, and Danny; and a host of great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, three brothers, and her daughter, Judy.
