Curtis Mcgowne

Curtis was born on August 23, 1948 in Yuma, Arizona to Harley and Alma (Norwood) McGowne. He graduated from Coalinga High School in Coalinga, California. On March 14, 1969, Curtis married Kathy Lawhorn, who preceded him in death on January 19, 1996. They were happily married for twenty-seven years. He worked as an auto parts manager at AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, Wal-Mart, and O"Reilly Auto Parts. Survivors include: his son, Greg McGowne and wife April, of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Machelle Few and husband, Douglas, of Sandridge, OK; brother, Dwaine McGowne and wife, Lois, of Yuma, AZ; sister, Janie Holiman and husband, Jim, of Yuma, AZ; and one granddaughter, Abby Few. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Alma McGowne; his wife, Kathy McGowne; and one brother, David McGowne.
