Corrie Dean Camp

October 30, 1972 — April 13, 2017

Corrie was born on October 30, 1972 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Corrie Dean Camp, Sr. and Brinda Marvine (Hays) Camp. He attended Eufaula Public Schools. On April 6, 1991, Corrie married Tresa Sue Layman. They were happily married for twenty-six years. He worked in maintenance at the Eufaula Hospital for fifteen years. Corrie later worked as a tree planner for Asplundh Tree Service. He was a member of the Vivian Baptist Church. Corrie loved the Lord. This was evident in his desire to see others come to faith in Jesus Christ and in his preparation to fulfill his call to preach. He also encouraged his family and any who would listen, to serve the One he gladly and reverently called Lord. Corrie was also a man who loved his family. He would often tell people that he was extremely proud of his wife and all 10 of his children. He would go on to say that apart from Jesus Christ, they were his greatest treasures and joy on earth. Treasures that he fully planned to have with him in heaven. Corrie also loved the outdoors. You could often find him in his garden or raising his chickens, rabbits, or goats. His other activities included reading and studying, working on puzzles, fishing (or rather restringing and baiting the kids" poles), going on road trips with no particular destination in mind, having wedding anniversary camping trips that somehow coincided with rainstorms and being a cut up and prankster. But his most favorite all-time activity was spending time with his family. Survivors include: his wife, Tresa Camp, of the home; parents: Corrie Sr. and Brinda Camp; sons: Corrie Camp, III; Prairie Camp; Tristin Camp; Rogue Camp; Levi Camp; and Trase Camp, all of the home; daughters: Tyler Camp, of Pineville, KY; Rachel Camp, of Muskogee, OK; Ema Camp; and Serenity Camp, both of the home; and sisters: Courtney Clark and husband, Michael and Christin Camp, both of Eufaula, OK. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Raymond and Janey "Granny Jane" (Pearce) Hays; paternal grandparents, Corrie and Ida (Dover) Camp.
